Attorney Ross V. Deachman is of counsel to the firm after having maintained a distinguished law practice for over 54 years. He formed Deachman & Cowie, P.A. in 1989 with Thomas W. Cowie, with whom he practiced until Attorney Cowie’s passing in March 2021. He then joined forces with his son, W. John Deachman, Esq., managing partner of Craig, Deachman & Associates, PLLC.

After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire, Attorney Deachman obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Boston University. He was admitted to practice in New Hampshire in 1967. Attorney Deachman’s practice consists primarily of estate planning, trusts, probate administration, and real estate matters.

Attorney Deachman is a past President of the Grafton County Bar Association and served the New Hampshire Bar Association as Grafton County Governor and Treasurer. He was the Moderator for the Town of Holderness for 29 years and served on the Pemi-Baker Regional School District Board for 30 years during which he also served as President of the N.H. School Boards Association. In addition, Attorney Deachman has served on the board of several non-profit entities over the years.

Attorney Deachman lives in Holderness with his wife. He has two children and three granddaughters. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and spending time at his family’s summer home on Little Squam Lake.
